Today library professionals are facing a lot of problems and our professional organisation ILA is sleeping.

A library professional faces various problems/ hurdles every day, some of them are as under:

1. Status issue at work place and society

2. Salary and stipend = MNREGA Mazadoor

3. Exploitation in private sector

4. Non teaching Cadre in school/ college and university

5. Unemployment

6. No promotion opportunities for Librarians/ Asst. Librarians in school/ college and university.

7. Condition of School and Public libraries

8. Working Condition and pay scales of Public Libraries

9. No post of librarian sanction in UP State Government senior secondary school 

10. No post of librarians in ITIs

11. Less pay bands for librarians in Engineering College and Polytechnic colleges (AICTE norms)

12. Library act/ Legislation is still pending in more than one dozen states

13. Implication of Library act/ Legislation in various states.

14. Our salary is 900 to 2,500 per month, but our expenditure on education is Rs. 22,000/=.

15. Librarian Vacancy published by Haryana Government but qualifications MCA and BE.

There may be various similar issues but

Many queries about why you don't do anything?You talk a lot on avedanpatra and rit and now totally silent.
So my dear friends,we started a mission,and every mission has its specific time to work on that.
And one another thing we all have our personal life and working area.So,it is possible people are very much busy on their routine work or special time phase.
We are in progress but that work is silent because some confidential work is there.
We all try to take appointment from Mr.Modi.and anyone has contact, they also can take .
But the approach you work and I silently seat and call everyday for association's activity,it should be not like that.
Everyone should work and aware about their position,cadre and rights.Everyone need to to work more and show more their work.Do new activity in library for attract users and authority.

ખાલી જગ્યા પુરવા ઉરચક ાાએ રજૂઆત

હજારો પુસ્તકો જાળવવાની ફરજ બજાવતાં કર્મીઓ સામે ઓરમાયું વર્તન રાજયની સરકારી અને ગ્રાન્ટ ઇન એઇડ કોલેજોમાં ૬૦ ટકા જગ્યાઓ ખાલી પડેલી છે, આ ખાલી જગ્યાઓ તાકીદે ભરવા રાજયના ઉરચ શિ ાણમંત્રીને ગુજરાત રાજય ગ્રંથપાલ મંડળના કાર્યકર્તા ઓએ આવેદન પાઠવ્યું છે. ગુજરાત રાજય ગ્રંથપાલ મંડળના નમ્રતા બેન જોશી, અલ્કાબહેન ગોહેલ અને જીતેન્દ્રભાઇ પરમારે રાજયના ઉરચ શિ ાણમંત્રી હસુબેન ત્રિવેદીને પાઠવેલા આવેદનપત્ર માં રાજય સરકાર દ્વારા સરકારી અને ગ્રાન્ટ એઇડ કોલેજોમાં બે દાયકાથી ભરતી કરવામાં ન આવી હોવાનું અને ગ્રંથપાલ માત્ર ગ્રંથો ની આપ-લે કરવાનું કાર્ય કરતો નથી પરંતુ તે પુસ્તક સમી ાા, સાકણ, જિયોગ્રાફી સહિતની સેવાઓ થકી ઇ-લાઇબ્રેરિયન બન્યો હોવાનું જણાવ્યું છે. આ ઉપરાંત બે દાયકાથી ભરતી ન થઇ હોય હજારો ઉમેદવારો બેરોજગાર થયા છે અને દર વર્ષે રાજયની વિવિધ યુનવસિર્ટીમમાંથી હજારો છાત્ર બેચલર ઓફ લાઇબ્રેરી સાયન્સ અને માસ્ટર ઓફ લાઇબ્રેરી સાયન્સની પદવી લેતા હોય બેરોજગારીનો આંક વઘ્યો હોવાનું જણાવ્યું છે. વિશેષમાં સરકારી કોલેજોમાં બે-કે ત્રણ વ્યાખ્યાન આપવાના હોય છે ત્યારે પૂર્ણ સમય શૈ ાણિક ફરજ બજાવવાની હોવાની અને હજારો પુસ્તકોને જાળવવાના ફરજ અદા કરવાની હોય પૂર્ણ પગાર ધોરણથી ભરતી કરવા જણાવ્યું છે. અંંતમાં રાજયની કોલેજોમાં ભરતી લાંબા સમયથી ન થઇ હોવાના કારણે પણ દુર્દશા હોય તાકીદે ભરતી કરવા જણાવ્યું છે. સરકારી કોલેજોમાં ૬૦ ટકા ગ્રંથપાલની જગ્યાઓ ખાલી
